There is around 5000 total hectares on Mount View and 2000 hactares is cleared you will have access to it all when you stay here. There’s lots to explore on Mount View.
It is a very picturesque property with quickly changing soil types open farmlands wooded creeks and large bush sections making perfect breeding grounds for feral pigs, goats rabbits, foxes and even the dingoes. All the native species make their homes here the mammals the birds and the reptiles it is quite a unique diversity and provides ample hunting opportunities for the seasoned hunter and the beginner or novice alike.
Mount View Station is a great place to bring your kids to enjoy the bush life and all its aspects You can even teach them how to drive here safely.
All first time campers will be required to have a guided tour of the property the basic tour is about 2 hours long and costs around $100. This will help you get your bearings and familiarise yourself with important areas and make you aware of the boundaries and no go areas.
If you would like an extended tour or a fully guided trip this is also available and price is on application. Your local guide will show you even more of the property so you can visit all the hotspots.
